What Sealant for Meter Boxes

I need to reseal around my meter boxes (presumably GRP) to the house brickwork.

The boxes need repainting and I've noticed the existing sealant is badly cracked and falling off in places, so makes sense to remove and renew while I'm at it.

What type of sealant should be used for this?

Frame sealer as used for pvc windows will be ok

Polymer or acrylic. Not silicone which can't be painted over.
