I've gotta clear the garden and the main things I want gone or my summerhouse 7x5ft and one of those those small plastic sheds for wheelie bins and probably 10 black bags size of garden waste. Any ideas for what size? I could take this to the tip but it's all been abused by rats.

Cheers

Probably cheaper to get local rubbish removal company to take away .If it was mine I would chop up and take down the tip in back of car.

10 bags of garden waste can often turn into 20 or 30, it's easy to underestimate that kind of stuff. But I'd bag it all up and get it all ready and then decide on either waste disposal guys or a skip. Good thing about waste disposal guys is that they'll lug it from your garden to their van.

Though not quite sure what risk there is in the car if the bags are sealed, I put a massive old blanket down that covers the entire boot if I'm getting rid of something skanky.

Smallest skips near me are about £100 - what you've got will fit. If the plastic store is functional someone will take for free on Freecycle or marketplace.

Locally we can get ton bags which can be filled with rubbish and collected for £25.

4 or 5 yard skip. Depends how well you chop up wood and the cost difference in skip sizes.
Worth paying another £30 to getting one too big imo Vs not big enough.
Most jobs I get a 5 yard skip and never failed to fill it yet.

After mother's death in 2016 - Gloucestershire - we needed several normal-size skips to clear the house and from memory they were around £200 each. Here in North London in 2019, having 12 metres of fencing and posts removed - by an associate of the man who installed new fencing, with proper licence - cost me £170 and having the existing deconstructed garden shed (about 6 by 4 feet IIRC) taken was £120. Well worth it, cheaper than skips, and fencer and associate carried everything away from the bottom of my 30-metre garden.
