What sort of Driveway / path do you have?

D

dextrous

Equally as interesting as another post. Mine is cast concrete.

My old house was tarmac.

Recently we had concrete slabs put down as the pathway for my parents' house.

I'm just trying to get enough quizzes and puzzles going for that new submenu that Admin is looking into giving us (see forum info)

Dex. Go on forgive him. It's Easter.

Our driveway's dirt with with grass and assorted weeds. Very in, in a country sort of way.

Must pave it this year. Or maybe next.

Whole front is block paving. Been down about 6 years now and starting to get a bit of moss/lichen this year. When the warm weather moves in I'll scrape it out and re-sand it.

(Funny type of question. )

90mm thick Tarmac (60/30) framed in Staffy solid blue best, laid soldier flat, with a five course quarter circle, Giscol brick planter in the corner, also finished with Staffy blue solids as a coping.

The road outside is dirt  unadopted - and the drive is gravel

i really can't have a life if i'm replying to this post.... i'll regret this when i (if i...) read it tomorrow...

but i have just had mine block-paved... it was tarmac before that and the kids were losing too much skin from their arms everytime they fell over! Ouch !

Why is anyone bothering to post on this thread? It was a complete pi**take

Cast concrete.

The original dates from 1960 ish, and is badly cracked. I did a new bit a couple of years ago, this is looking good.

Mind you, it should be. I dug out to solid clay, then laid a few tons of compacted MOT & then at least a foot of concrete.
