our tile a few months back finishing tiling our kitchen wall. When you sit down in the kitchen dining table it don't look great. What's the solution? I asked tiler and he said it's too much work to grout behind the cabinet and it's too fiddly and no one does it.

Thoughts?

It is a tricky situation. You can try grouting (or silicone) it, and it'll be messy, and not very easy, but will look better. The alternative is a piece of wood moulding superglued to the bottom of the cabinets.

It depends on the depth of the gap behind the units. It looks narrow in the picture, but is often too big for silicone in one go.

I totally agee wirh JC that shoukd have been finished properly, thats the reason you pay a professional to get a proper .Not something you have to make do with or finish off because they couldnt be bothered to do it

Get him Back to make a proper job of it, why didnt he just finish it off with a length of tile trim, there would be no need to grout/silicon the tile edge and it would give a clean finish .
