What to do when sub-base layer involves a drain?

I am considering turning the front garden into parking space, and using gravel grids. The info I find online indicates the sub-base should be roughly 150 - 300mm for vehicles. But the front garden has a drain under it that is not very deep. I am not sure exactly how deep it is, but after digging down for the sub-base, plus another say 50mm for the gravel grids I suspect I will be very close to, if not have already dug down and exposed the pipe. Is there a recommendation on how to deal with the drain? e.g. is there some kind of bridging that should be done so as to relief pressure on the pipework?

use rebar in the concrete spanning the pipe + 500mm each side along the length under the pipe? Or reroute the drain if it is possible?
