I have some good quality soft wood garden furniture made from tanalised pine. I know it is not essential to apply a treatment, but I would like to to preserve its looks and make it last a bit longer.
The supplier reccomends a Finnish wood oil (water based) but it is £70 per tin, so I am looking for an alternative.
I like the natural colour of the wood so would probably chhose something clear or very light.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
