Hi all
Currently building the frame for my driveway gate (see image below)
I have laid the wood on the floor as I want it to be once joined together.
I am not a diy expert so I want to keep it simple. To join the vertical bars to the horizontal timber, would it be okay to put a screw through the side of the vertical bar in the the horizontal bar?
Any other recommendations... Please bare in mind to keep it as simple as possible, yet strong enough. The timber gate will b 4 foot wide and 5 for high (same size of the timber frame)
Thanks
Mark
