Can any one recommend a good tool to remove lots of 1" copper pipe?
I'm repiping my 1960's CH and there's loads of the original 1940's 1" stuff that I just want to hack out from under the floorboards. I'm thinking of something like bolt cutters or the like.
At the section I can see at the moment, there's no room for a pipe cutter or angle grinder. I suppose a pipe slice would be OK if it could fit 1 inch, but I'd rather get something more versatile as I'm never going to need to cut this sort of stuff again.
Any idea how much this stuff is worth per metre as scrap?
I've got maybe 18m, plus possibly the same again downstairs (plus a hot water cylinder and about a dustbin full of scrap 0.5" and 0.75")
Thanks for any recommendations or info.
