When they want an opinion on something from a Northern person, why do they pick on the thickest Geordie available? Makes you cringe.....

Why do the BBC have a 'Northern Correspondent'?
When they want an opinion on something from a Northern person, why do they pick on the thickest Geordie available? Makes you cringe.....

I like the Geordie spirit and attitude and its not right you you should pick on them like that.
I do believe they try and often get a good intelligent Geordie spokesman for the north.
They're a tough breed and I would rather be along side one than a Southerner, which I am, any day.
They are a real lovable people

You mis read me mate - as I was born on the banks of the Tyne there are few people more Geordie than myself.....
Personally I find Northern people invariably charming, polite and hospitable as well as generous.
Its just the portrayal of we Geordies that appears to have a stereotype when seen on TV - not the best at voicing an opinion.

Indeed I most certainly am not - I have never knowingly criticised, insulted or upset anyone.....its not my style.

That is something that that really annoys me too Joe,,, makes me sick. The whole race thing has gone too far, and is storing up resentment for the future.

OK I can understand the thinking here but would you have made a comment or indeed have given this a second thought if the BBC only ever showed a 'White' school kid?
The BBC is lefty, and as such is largely in favour of unchecked immigration, and changing the balance to increase the proprtion of minorities in the UK.
As well as showing schools, etc where virtually every pupil is non-white, has anyone noticed the increasing numbers of mainly muslim news readers and reporters. All part of the big social-engineering experiment that is the UK today.

Some of our internal printed communications feature pictures of "staff". Theres one such picture on the front of the weekly job advert pages. It features
an asian man, about 28.
A black woman, about 45.
A white woman, about 35.
A young white male, about 20.
An asian woman, about 40.
3 ethnics, 2 whites.
Why? I'll be completely honest, I've never worked with any ethnic people with this company! Then again, they are a tiny minority in South Yorkshire. But the company as a whole maybe has 1% of its staff or less with ethnic origins.
But the human rights or the equality commision would investigate any pictures of all white people, wouldnt they. No doubt impose a heavy fine for publishing racist and white supremicist literature.

Forgive me but you may want to look up 'ethnicity' and/or 'ethnic groups'.
