Dancing cars is nothing new, what about lowriders? Far, far cooler than any Citroen C4 or Golf GTi!

D'ya think Clive Sinclair got a payment when Citroen named their C5 after his electric-assist trike? I know you can't patent numbers (hence why the successor to the 486 was called "pentium" rather than 586, and why both BMW and Volvo have made 740s in their time) but surely with a letter on the front it would be pushed over the threshold?

I thought there was an issue with patenting or copyrighting numbers. Porsche could NOT use the number "901" and instead had to use "911" back in the 60's on the basis that Peugeot claimed it had the rights to naming its various models with 3 digit numbers with a zero in the middle (i.e. 403/404/204/304/ etc.).

Similarly (well, nearly similarly), Daimler could not call the SP250 Sports Car a "Dart" as Dodge had the rights over the name. Everybody still called it the Daimler Dart though. And it was ugly. Nice V8 engine though.

I saw a fully loaded up van the other day that was dancing all over the road i think the struts must have been poking out the bonnet

Was that you behind me then. I was doing the best that I could. Once you get a yard of sand, a dozen bags of cement and a few hundred bricks on board with all the tools and a couple of labourers, the steering behaves a bit funny. Another strange phenomena, is that it slows down when you put it into 5th gear. I don't understand it, according to the manual I should be able to carry upto 680Kg

anyway back to the thread, i saw the advert the other day and i can't say i was that impressed by the visuals, the editing was so obvious whether intentional? and was no where near as clean and believable and professionally done as the citreon one was.
