Hi All,
A new screed (3" max) was layed just over two weeks ago in our extension. I know that it will take something like four months to dry completely. But can we lay our solid oak floor at some point before this?
Would it be practical and reliable to purchase a surface damp meter? If so, what reading should I be looking for? Am hoping the hot weather has helped, and the flooring is already out of the box (which I gather is the WRONG thing to do...).
Any tips gratefully received.
