When to get new windows?

Hi

I am renovating a house at the moment and I will be putting new windows in at some point, however all rooms need plastering first. Is it best to have the windows fitted before replastering or afterwards?

Also, how will window-fitters go about fitting upstairs windows above an extension - will scaffolding potentially be needed?

Dosn't really make much difference, if fitted after plastering you will probably need to make good anyway. Second , the windows can be fitted from inside.
