Ive started a building company about a year ago.....however, I have been asked to supply an insurance backed guarantee for a basement conversion...only thing is the FMB say you need to be in business for 3 yrs to get a guarantee from them. I tried the NHIC but they only deal with new builds. Anyone know who does?
I can answer my own question....so thought id be kind enough to pass the information on.
You can obtain IBG from trade federations if going for about 3yrs.....or,
HOMEPRO offer schemes that can provide IBG's for the new business etc.
Alternatively the customer can contact Brittannia for a Home Improvement Protection Policy.
