Hi, some advice needed on where best to start laying a laminate floor. See from the plan attached there is a hallway and a large L shaped room off, plus some other smaller rooms.
The problem to me is that the house was built without a lot of care taken to make walls parallel. So if I start in the middle of the big room, by the time I reach the hallway, the planks may not parallel to the walls. Since the hallway is narrow, planks running away from a wall will be quite noticeable.
So should I start in the hallway, using the wall between hallway and big room as my reference line, knowing that when I reach the far wall in the big room, the planks may not run parallel but it will be less noticeable.
