I have noticed an existing clay drain gully is slightly off centre when it was installed. For what reason this was done, I know not.
This means it is not directly connected to the clay drain below. This is just a rain water gully.
This means there is a slight gap which needs to be filled.
It is something I can fix properly in the future, but for now I would like to fill the gap with a temporary but suitable filler.
I assume I can fill it with concrete, but is there a certain mix that is suitable, or will any readymix do?
I also have some gravel which I assume I can add as an aggregate to give it a bit more strength for an initial layer, and top off with a smooth layer. Does this sound like a good idea plan?
Many Thanks
