Can someone tell me what connector to use in my vacuum cleaner. It is a 9 yr old Panasonic upright bagged one. It has been cutting in and out when in use. Accessed the wiring and it has got a split in one area. The 2 wires go into a crimped connector with another wire which goes to the switch, see photo, the connector has been crimped so need another sort so I can cut the damaged bit of cable out and reconnect the 2 wires. Looked on our local Screwfix site but they all seem to be mainly multipacks and I only need 2! So many sorts as well. If someone could tell me what to loom for or provide a link I would be grateful.

Could I use scotch lock connectors?
NO! They are absolutely the worst possible option.
