Hi

Just about to lay some laminate in a room and was wondering where the folks on here would start from. Seemed logical to me to start on the mustard coloured solid wall (pic 2) and work back to where the slightly tricky doors/alcoves are directly opposite (pic 1). But maybe I'm wrong, does anyone think I should start with the tricky door/alcove bit and work towards the mustard wall? I'm planning to lay the boards horizontally i.e. long bits parallel to the mustard wall and door/alcoves in pic 1 and short bits running towards the french doors ( pic 3), the room is pretty much exactly square btw.

Any thoughts/advice gratefully recieved and yes, don't worry, I am putting down decent underlay!

I always run in the direction of the light source. So from pic 2, left to right parallel with the mustard wall if I was doing that room.
