Did you ever get one? I am interested in protecting my garage also. Just posted a thread to ask if it's possible to add a wireless PIR to an existing wired system.
Not got one yet,Maplins do a wireless alarm which connects to your orignal wired alarm,i do not want to go that route,not sure about passing through walls and then down to the garage at the end of the garden.
