Hi There again,
I wonder if someone can tell me which of those two types of insulations is proper one in terms of current regulations. I need that between my rafters in pitched roof/loft, which will be converted in additional bedroom at some point and I am looking for cheapest option available. At present I am looking on these two:
1. Room-in-Roof Roll:
http://www.knaufinsulation.co.uk/pr.../loft_insulation_rolls/room-in-roof_roll.aspx
2. Loft Roll 44:
http://www.knaufinsulation.co.uk/products/crown_rolls/crown_loft_rolls/crown_loft_roll_44.aspx
I can’t find any supplier for first one and probably it will be more expensive than second one anyway. However Loft roll 44 don’t have this silver side and I wonder if that is required for insulations located on pitched roofs or no? Or by other words is Loft roll 44 is suitable for pitched roof insulations for current regulations? Suppliers never mention about pitched roofs application so its worry me that Loft roll 44 can be applied only on walls or flat roofs.
What’s your take on this, please?
Thanks
