lee thats the only thing i use mine for, waste of money really, useless for car washing
cant you borrow one off a mate, if i use mine for 5 hours a year its worked hard, it blinks at the sunlight like my fivers

At least (maybe that should say 'last') Karcher have got their act together re the spares......
For car washing its the hot wash that works, and as with all DIY pressure washers, use them for 10 mins max at a time, and then rest them for 10.

I have a Karcher, and if you live in a hard water area, be prepared to replace the "spill valve" at some point.

Not too much of a bind, about £20, but worth knowing rather than binning an otherwise-fine piece of gear.

And, useless for car washing - you'd strip the paint!

I got one of these a little while ago and it cleans very well.
The high pressure lance does well, the patio floor thing is useless though.

I did all my decking and the back pathways with it recently, did a good job. Goes nowhere near the car paint though.
