Hi, I have an under-stairs walls I want to paint:
The stairs lead to a damp cool cellar, the landing itself isn't too damp.
The house is probably about 1900.
I've scraped back the paint to pretty much the bare plaster, which might be original.
I've re-plastered a few floor level areas, which had crumbled away from the brickwork.
Question is how should I finish the decorating / paint? in terms of primers, paint types etc. I just want a white matt finish
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Jon
