Which Paint Will Stick to Bathtub Sealer?

I'm partway through renovating my bathroom. I had the ceiling replastered, then had the new bathroom and wall panels put in. The joiner who fitted the panels sealed round the top with bath sealer. When painting the ceiling I discovered the paint won't adhere to the sealer, leaving a gap on the ceiling round the walls. The sealer has soaked into the plaster, so simply scraping it away won't help.

Is there any type of paint that will stick to the sealer?

hello what i would do is go round with oil based undercoat you may need to do this twice but most times once will do the job then just go over that with your emulsion. carl
