Hi all,

Replacing an V old wired PIR as it got damaged by workmen. (using a 9800 control !)

The old model is a Racal-Guardall, and have 8 wires connected to the 7 pins.

From what I can see and figure out,

Red +12v
Back -12V
Blue & Yellow = Alarm
Orange & Brown seem to be discarded as connected to spare
Green and white connected to Tamper.

I am tempted to replace it with a Bosch Blue Line Gen2. Will this work please? (is there another better one you would recommend?)

If so, what wires goes where please?
as this is the wiring diagram I found at Bosch

So I am guessing the power is easy,
Red +12v
Back -12V

Is the NC connector same as the ALARM? does it mater which of these wires goes on which terminal?
I am guessing this would be blue and Yellow?

And T must be TAMPER?
so Green and White, again does it matter which way round these wires are connected.

Many thanks for any help

You’re correct in your assumption, and no it doesn’t matter which way round you wire the pairs as long as the blue and yellow are used in NC, green and white as tamper
