Hi all

I have about 8 small mdf shelves 25cm wide to go in between a plasterboard wall and some bookcases. I probably use them for storing DVDs bblu-ray etc.
I'm going to use the Small L shaped push in metal brackets for the bookcase side but wondered what to use for the plasterboard side. Probably won't have more than a couple of kilos on each shelf.
Any suggestions.

Thanks

What about attaching a full side of timber (same width as the existig shelves) to the plasterboard side and using the push in fixing on each side?

Yeah I wish I'd done that but I've ordered the shelves made to measure and rather not have to do any cutting.

A couple of those white plastic block for assembly joints for putting cabinets together and screwed to the wall into plasterboard plugs is what I was considering.

That should work. Just be sure you don’t do them too tight because if you go through board with no adhesive behind the block will pull right through.

Or forget the materials you have (it's only a few pieces of MDF) and buy an Ikea Benno CD/DVD tower.
