I am am looking for a high quality thermostatic mixer shower for my new bathroom and do you agree with below. Im looking for an exposed valve with a fixed head to go into a stand alone cast iron bath if you know what i mean. Fed from my 42Cdi combi, I have good mains pressure.
Mira and Grohe . Can be very expensive, but very good quality, mira give 1 year guarantee, grohe 5 years guarantee
Triton. not so expensive but still a good quality valve, 5 year guarantee
Gainsborough. Again not so expensive, but not sure on the quality, my last thermostatic valve failed 3 times and had to have it replaced, and i know of 3 other gainsborough showers that have failed mixer valves
Morretti and swirl. Screwfix own branded chinese import rubbish, been told to stay well away from these due to a high failure rate!!
So what is the general opinions of the plumbers that install alot of showers
