Which tradesman would I need to find to repair a rotten bay window frame. Joiner (I assume) or window fitting company? It is a three window bay window (Victorian property), the windows are uPVC but the base around the windows and above are wood and need replacing.

Thanks

I've done that before using dry flex resin and timber. I'm a painter.
Also there are window restoration companies that repair sash widows that will also do it.

Carpenter will also do it if they have knowledge and use repair care products. They might not need resin and just use timber.

Thanks, it is a bit worse than patching up some rotten areas, it needs full replacement of some timbers within the bay.

You need a skilled carpenter assuming you want to replace in timber.

But site carpenters won’t usually be able to machine up sections, but some carpenters will know a local joinery shop that can do the machining
