which type of underlay

what is the best type of underlay to use for lounge i have used the bog standard "tredaire "rubber underlay . Ihave been told that the pu underlay is a better propisition
any advise what to go for please its going under a 60 oz twist carpet pretty decent quality

Providing there is no underfloor heating involved go for cloud 9 from ball and young very comfortable underfoot.
