Hi all, we live in a hard water area, and think that a water softener would be a good idea. When we moved we found that the previous people had a combimate fitted, but it is expected to cover half the house and fails. We seem to constantly be filling it up, we notice a difference for about a week then it returns to normal. The problem is the house has 2 rising mains one in the kitchen that feeds the kitchen and bathroom. The other is in the garage that feeds the cloakroom, utility and outside taps. Only 2 of us at the moment
Questions
1 Which make and model would you suggest?
2 Would it be best to put the utility on the soft water as it has sink and washing machine?
3 Or should we move the combimate to cover the washing machine and sink and install a water softener for the kitchen and bathroom?
Many Thanks
Moosele
