Suggestions as to which way to lay floor ruling please. The door is behind me in the photo.

There is a window to the left of the door above the toilet which is facing from left to right as you enter the wall. The wall tiles are 1000mm x 300mm. Floor tile size is 660mm x 440mm

I’m thinking of laying them so that the longest side (width) is in front of me as I enter the room.

The last images show the each tile orientation will look against them linear drain.

Longways in my opinion, however is a matter of preference.
Check that you won't end up with little cuts at the door.
If so, leave the cuts to one side that will be hidden.

Whe you say long ways, do you mean long ways to the linear drain, so basically as you enter the bathroom from the door, you have the wider side of the tile in front of you?

depends whether you want to make the room feel longer or wider.
