whilpool ADP4501/5

i am having problems with my dishwasher at the start of the wash programme it starts and stops and the start light ( green) flashes on and off it does not do on every wash i have tried resetting it but it still carries on once the wash cylce starts it is fine whilpool ADP4501/5
