Hi all,,i drive a peugot 307,52 reg and have recently inheritied a couple of noises.firstly theres a constant whining,origanally when i turned key in ignition i had this noise for a couple of seconds then it disappeared and was told it was the power steering pump powering up but it doesnt go away now,just whines constantly..Then secondly i have a ticking that seems to run in time with fan belt and if your sat in driver seat with door open its very noticable..any ideas...

Have sorted whining,it was power steering pump,,needs replacing..still not sure about ticking though..Oh well,another 2 days in garage then..
