I wonder if anyone out there can help.
I have a Whirlpool ADP4500WH Dishwasher, it's 4-5 Years old.
The dishwasher is filling with water, but very slowly. It then goes through it's usual wash cycle but the Water is being pumped with such little force that it's barely dribbling out of the spray arms. It makes a strange, low pitched whirring/knocking noise as if the pump is struggling, throughout the cycle.
I have checked the water inlet pressure - That's fine
I have replenished the salt (it had been low/empty for quite a while)
All the spray arms are free from blockages
The filters are clean.
I've removed and cleaned what I think is called the blast switch, rubber diaphragm behind a black grid.
Basically can anyone give me an idea as to what the problem is, and whether it's worth getting it fixed or if I should take the plunge and go for a new one.
Even better if anyone could provide some sort of schematic/picture then I might be able to make more sense of the whole thing too.
Many thanks in advance for any help that is offered.
