Hello there - so, last night I did a wash of my bedsheets etc with my Whirlpool AWZ410 "1000" washer-dryer. Unfortunately there was a lot of lint on just about everything and the "self-cleaning" filter (or drain pump, perhaps) appears to have had enough.
I'm fairly sure I could clean it if I could get to the silly thing, but Whirlpool seem to have designed their washer-dryer so that I'd give up on trying to get to the filter and would call someone to do it for me, and I can't for the life of me figure out how I'm supposed to get to it.
The front bottom-right cover had some screws that were easily removed, leaving me with this:
However, the contraption is designed to push inwards, not pull outwards, like so:
Does anyone have a clue how I'm supposed to get to my filter to clean the lint off it? Do I need to take the back off and rummage around in the machine's innards? Any help would be much appreciated, please!
