Whirlpool Built-in Dishwasher G2P DWI Error: 6 flashes

We had a burst pipe behind our dishwasher so it was taken out while repairs were made. It was then reinstalled and I have just tried to use it for the first time and it seems to work fine for a couple of minutes before stopping and beeping. When I open the door I see the start light flashing 6 times, pausing, and then flashing 6 times again. I gather this is an error code. I was wondering what type of problem does this code refer to?

I have tried resetting it by holding the start button down, and it will start again but stop after a couple of minutes and go into this error mode again.

Any help appreciated.

Have had similar problems with this appliance. Seems to happen every now and again. Pushing the buttons in a variety of combinations has reset the machine and it continues to function for a few weeks until i have to do the same thing again. Today, it has tripped the main house breakers and there is a 'blown' smell evident. Will only work on the pre wash proggramme without blowing.
