whirlpool dishwasher ADG 7560/1 not cleaning.

We bought this machine around 15 months ago and to be honest it has never been as good as the last one which was also a whirlpool.
Problem is that it does not wash properly. We find the dishwater tablet almost full lying in the dishwasher. We have tried different tablets but there is clearly a problem. We have also tried a variety of programes to no avail. Can anyone help?

To identify which machine you actually have (as there are 10 different versions with the same model number) you need to post the service number on the door sticker. It looks something like this; 851175715830. Generally speaking the problem you describe usually turns out to be an issue regarding heating, spray arms, or circulation motor. Have you cleaned the filters & checked the spray arms for blockages? Does the water actually get hot? Is the machine showing an error code?
