whirlpool dishwasher adp 4404/5 is clicking

Hi can anyone help me, my whirlpool dishwasher is not working. It gets part of the way through a program then from somewhere behind the programmer dial it starts to click. can anyone tell me which part I need to replace. It has happened before and I cannot remember what the engineer replaced, this time we have to mend it ourselves as it is out of gaurantee. replies much appreciated, thanks orinocoflo

Hi there, I just read your post from 2009 regarding Whirlpool Dishwasher. Did you ever resolve the problem of the clicking noise? I am having the same problem with mine. It's 7 years old. Appreciate your advise whether to try to fix or buy a new one.
