The drain hose has split and I am trying to replace it, a simple task - ho! ho! However the existing hose does not terminate externally on the dishwasher, but enters the machine through a plastic plate at the bottom rear. I have tried to release this base plate but the water supply hose also enters through it so it won't release. I have also undone the two star type screws in the base plate, but the base plate did not budge. Do I push/pull or scream?This is brainwashing me! Please will any knowledgeable person let me know how I gain access to the interior so I can get at the hose connection. Thanks.
