Hi - I've read through other advice about upper arms not rotating and I've tried everything. Have cleaned it on very hot repeatedly. No sign of any blockage. Only 1 year old.
Any ideas?
thanks
M
Need to check to see if water is actually being piped up to the top arm, depending on model the water can come from above of from the rear, if from the rear make sure the tray is going fully back and making a seal over the supply pipe at the rear, sometimes the seal can wear allowing water to leak out before reaching the arm.
May be worth looking in the bottom to check if the double pipe that runs to the upper arm assembly hasn't just popped out of its plastic holder. This has been an issue on several models & results in pressure loss to the upper arm. Whirlpool issued a bulletin on this particular problem. Basically it involves anchoring the pipe into place on the base plate with a small rust free self tapping screw at the back. Bit brutal but non the less effective.
Zipper - you have made my New Year - we've been living with this "pop out" for years and my resolution was to get it fixed or get rid of the machine ! Any more details on the bulletin or how to fix the double tube in - not very handy and worried about botching it. Thanks in advance.
