when the tub fills with water, i could see a steady drip coming from underneath. It appears to be the discharge pump that is leaking. I laid the machine on it side and dropped the motor/pump assembly. I have removed the 2 spring clips that appeared to be holding on the pump, but it will not come off. the shaft going into the pump is rusted up pretty good. there doesn't seem to be anything else holding it on, but I don't want to apply too much force until I know that for sure. The machine is a Whirlpool Supreme, heavy duty plus if that helps. Thank you in advance for any insight on removing this pump.
( I did a search and somehow ended up in the plumbing & hvac section. I am new here and not sure how I messed up. Anyway , sorry for the double post. I will go back and try to delete it).
