ok-hi. just signed up.. washer been not working since last spring, luckly we had extra downstairs, but i want the one upstairs fixed yesterday-haha... busy lives.... im going to try to see if I can fix this thing myself ..
Its just under 5 yrs old.. whirlpool washing machine..
It was in middle of wash, thought it finished only to open & see water in it( its been drained out since , temp turned & it drained ), now almost a yr later, its still just turning...no noise, just turns silent ( i see some wrote they hear that 'clicking noise ', not here w. this problem)
we norm do this.. push in ..turn clockwise, set to cycle wanted.. & pull out, right!!.... but this thing just turns & turns.. sometimes it lets me pull it out, and it spins w. its last breath, since the loads been done for a yr.haha .. but the thing just turns (totally silently)as I turn the cycle knob.
the washer & dryer are close near each other,, room wasnt built around them, but its tight.
I dont have man muscles to pull the whole thing up, but if I get my answer, ill do what I need to , to get it fixed..
any ideas what Im to do? thnx so much in advance.. ~c
