Whirlpool washing machine problem!

Hi, I have a whirlpool AWM865 washing machine. It will not spin but i can feel resistance when i manually turn drum so think belt is ok. When i put it on spin mode, it makes a noise like its going to start spinning but does not actually start ramping up speed, (just keeps sounding like motor
is going at a constant slow speed but no drum turning). After searching through forums, i have hopefully narrowed it down to either:
a) motor brushes
b) speed control pcb
c) pressure switch

Can anyone please advise on any tests to confirm above parts are suspect?

A) visual inspection (min. 10 mm long) B)Not sure C)Remove pipe from sump & blow into it to see if you can hear the switch acuating & de-actuating then resistance check with a multi meter. While you are in that area clear out sludge from sump /pump
