Whirlpool wont drain

My whirlpool model lsq8243hqo wont drain. It goes from agitateing to doing nothing when it should be draining. it makes no noise at all .The motor isn\\\'t humming or trying to run. I have replaced the timer and still the same problem.

probably pump, its connections, blocked pipe or filter

No I don't think it is the pump because the motor is not running and it will start pumping out when it goes into the spin cycle

Did you check for a faulty lid switch?
