washing machine only 18 months old sticks on programms normally no 10 help if help programmer slightly usually works ok

if i set a programme to run it will run as normall but sticks between some programms ,clicking noise from timer but programmer doesnt move,if i turn manually slightly it will then turn automatically.everything else works ok help

Does it stick on the wash ? rinse? spin?
If it's sticking on the wash check that it's heating the water.
If it's sticking on the rinse or spin change the inlet valves over.

seems to be sticking on wash programms rinsing and spinning dont seem to be a problem

Check the heater, thermistor and wiring. If it doesn't heat it won't progress.

Test the items as previously advised. Replace the faulty part and it should work again.
