Whistling Taps

Hi,

I had a new mixer tap fitted in the kitchen in my flat and now when I turn the cold side on theres a high pitched whistling but the hot side is fine?

Any ideas why?

I had a Compression valve operation, single hole mixer fitted it was fine for about two months then started whistling???

Sounds painful, hope you're better now.

What sort of taps are they, 1/4 turn or conventional? And what make, or how much did they cost?
