white knight drier

Hope this is in the correct section, i have a Crosslee white knight gas drier , model bg442, the drive belt snapped and i replaced it with an Oem one, but now the drier ignites and runs ok for thirty seconds but then the gas valve shuts off.
I,m thinking its the overheat thermostat but am unable to find where it is,
Can anyone help please ?.

MODs- This one could do with going back to Plumbing(gas fired tumble drier)

Does the drier go into lock out or try and relight after the fan has cooled it.

these have inlet stats and exhaust stats so depending on what happens with the neon and if it locks out or tries to relight depends on which might be faulty.
