Hello.
Had new plaster 5 months ago, and it just has new plaster paint on it.
This internal wall seems to have paint peeling, and shiney fluffiness to it.
Any ideas?
Can't really tell by your photos.
So is the problem that the paint is peeling? What paint did you apply as a primer/mist coat?
Was the white flufffy stuff evident before painting?
Why did you have the wall replastered?
If you have had damp problems, it could be salts.
If you painted before plaster was completely dry, the existing moisture that is trapped will blister the paint.
Hello.
Thanks for replying. Problem is paint bubbling/peeling, but only on one wall. No issues before painting. We had the whole house replastered as it was awful artex when we bought it. Paint is new plaster paint, so it's breathable and very thin. It's specifically called new plaster paint, and we painted after it had dried a little. Actually 8 months since plaster was done, so should have fully dried.
