Noticed some white mould within my loft space and was wondering a few things:
1. Is this due to lack of ventilation, condensation, or both?
2. Within the pictures attached you can see felt only. I believe this is due to a window being removed (as there seems to be an old single pane window in the loft that would fit this) - what should I do about this?
3. What would you recommend doing to resolve this? I've read up on vacuuming the white mould, and then applying acrylic based mould paint - does this work?
4. I would be looking to floor the loft - any useful tips?
Note - there is no wetness on any of the panels - my thought is that it is dry rot - would this be accurate?
Thanks in advance,
Torin
