Not been to bed with anyone famous, but.....

I have met:

Graham Norton (twice)
Dave Lynn (from ch4's "Faking It")
Leslie Crowther (had lunch with him a few months before his accident)
Colin McAllister & Justin Ryan.

I have spoken on the phone to:

Natalie Imbruglia (handled a warranty claim for a Loewe Telly!)
Stirling Moss (I used to do tenant vetting and he owns property)

And, when I was born, on the Isle of Man, our next door neighbour was Francis Rossi! (Although I have no memory of ever seeing him, hardly surprising given that we moved when I was 8 months old!)

Not a bad set of claims to fame......

Well, he's 76 now, but only sounded like he was late 50s/early 60s when I had dealings with him in 2003.

Like I said, only ever spoke with him by phone, he was very down to earth and pleasant. I remember part of the first conversation:

Me: "And can I just take your full name?"
Him: "Well, I suppose my full name is Sir Stirling Moss..."
Me (trying not to sound too starstruck): "Ah, so this [property] is what you're up to these days?"
Him: "Son, I do anything that makes money! Wish it would work as well without the bloody tenants though......"

in my old bill days met the following

gave steven berkoff a telling off, didnt realsie who he was until my oppo told me

dealt with simon fanshawe

pulled steve cougan for driving like a complete tat in his ferrari

completeley ignored mr and mrs blair when they came around to talk to us at a party confrence

bumped into the bloke who used to play the superintendent in the bill (and called him sir burke!)

and a few other evenmore minor celebrities!

Famous person apart from celebs would be nearly knocking Prince Charles over by walking into him, He was visiting work and i was rushing to fix a fault, i ran into a lobby and had to stop abrubtly to avoid hitting this person it took a few seconds to realise it was him with his bodyguards around him. Being slightly embarassed at nearly knocking him over all i could think of saying was "Sorry Mate", what a dingbat i felt! He was alright about it and said not to worry.
