Just been to a noisy O/F Worcester floor standing Highflow, all worked fine, gave it a service, checked flue and gas rate etc, was noisier on hot water, suspected scaled heat exchanger, put in a litre of Sentinel X200, wow, 20 minutes later all quiet, ran off some hot water to check with boiler on full belt, still quiet, excellent, something that does what it says on the tin, for once.

Been using x200 as a noise reducer for about 15 years and it works about 95% of the time and lasts about 2 years . Used to quieten down my old pott flamingo within couple of hours and that used to sound like someone hitting it with a hammer.
