I have a Main Combi 24 boiler which appears to be working ok? I have recently had cause to remove 2 rads due to decorating needs which has been completed no problem. I have re-pressurised the system and all is working but for some reason the boiler seems to gain pressure throughout the day. I set the boiler to 0.5 bar but it is now at 2 bar. I know that the pressure goes up when the heating and/or hot water is requested but once these have been used it doesn't seem to drop back down?? Any ideas??

The filling loop could be passing, ie, not 100% off.
Have you tried disconnecting filling loop?
If after disconnecting the pressure still rises then might be a holed plate heat exchanger

Your system pressure should be filled to about one bar cold.
If you have a filling loop with a braided hose attached unscrew the hose ( it normally has a a wing nut type conection) and take it off, you would then be able to see if the filling loop is letting by and adjust the tap to turn it off, if it will not turn off it will need to be replaced.
Although possible, it is not likely to be your heat exchanger or pressure vessel, and will most likely be the above if you had no previouse problem or symptoms
